Hot Shots Return to Vandenberg
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Col. Nina Armagno, 30th Space Wing commander, congratulates Jesse Hendricks, Travis Asmus, Trent Ogan, Bradley Mabery and other members of the Vandenberg Hot Shots crew during a reception at the Pacific Coast Club Thursday, July 19, 2012. Two days after returning home from the Waldo Canyon Fire in Colorado the Hot Shots were called to fight the Santa Margarita, Calif. wildland fires, where their backfire and burnout operations resulted in saving approximately 60 homes over a three day period.
