AFSO21 streamlines process to benefit families with special needs
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Using a colorful display, Elaine Huggins, a 30th Space Wing Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century process manager, maps out a new process to improve the base’s responsiveness to families with special needs. AFSO21’s team project will benefit Vandenberg by creating a more efficient process for obtaining support for Exceptional Family Member Program families; indentifying resources and linking them to EFMP families; improving the quality of life for EFMP families; reducing assignment denials; and improving the career potential for military members with special need families.
