30th CES paves the way for new range capabilities

Airman 1st Class Brian Farris, 30th Civil Engineer Squadron heavy equipment operator, works on the gaseous nitrogen pad Aug. 18, 2020, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. The construction of the pad took 20 days to complete, allowing it to be ready to hold nitrogen production equipment such as pumper trucks and 200,000 lb liquid storage trailers for the NROL-82 mission.
