BASE RESPONDS TO ACCIDENT Published Sept. 27, 2013 By 080913 VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- An occupant of a vehicle was injured in a vehicle accident at approximately 4:35 p.m. today near Firefighter Rd. 30th Space Wing emergency response teams, including fire, security forces and medical first-responders are on-scene and assessing the situation. The injured person is being transferred via California Shock Trauma Air Rescue Ambulance to a nearby medical facility. The injured person is not base affiliated. -30-
