  • Vandenberg Fire Department aids during Alisal Fire

    The 30th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department provided assistance to contain the Alisal Fire which started Oct. 11, 2021, at Los Padres National Forest in Goleta, Calif. The fire consumed approximately 17,000 acres of land, leading to the evacuation of hundreds of nearby residents and ranchers.

    Magetiak has not let cancer stop him from reaching his goals or thinking of what is to come in his future. Aside from his family, Magetiak’s motivation for his post-military career  his goals of becoming a Physical Therapist, to help people develop the best versions of themselves.  

  • Breakfast Helps Veterans Obtain Resources

    Members from Vandenberg AFB and local communities joined Rep. Salud Carbajal, United States congressman, at his breakfast, where he provided updates on local veteran support programs.
