Col. Brent Cunningham, 30th Medical Group commander, met with Tony Briggs, American Red Cross regional chief executive officer, to sign the Memorandum of Understanding, Dec. 16, 2022 at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif. The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding will bridge the gap between Vandenberg Space Force Base and the local community. This joint endeavor provides a platform to bring in civilian volunteers and present a possible opportunity for these volunteers to be hired as permanent medical staff members of the 30th Medical Group.
