AIRFIELD ROAD FIRE - UPDATE 3
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – The fire on North Base is unrelated to the Canyon Fire on South Base.
Preliminary reports attribute the fire to a downed powerline due to high winds.
Firefighters supporting the South Base fire are assisting on North Base.
All inbound traffic to Vandenberg AFB is closed until further notice.
