VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. --

U.S. Space Force Lt. Gen. Douglas A. Schiess, U.S. Space Forces - Space commander and Combined Joint Force Component commander; U.S. Space Force Brig. Gen. Frank Kincaid, U.S. Space Forces - Space deputy commander; U.S. Space Force Col. Dorian Hatcher, Space Launch Delta 30 operations deputy commander; and U.S. Air Force Col. Michael Jewell, Space Launch Delta 30 deputy commander, spoke at Veterans Day ceremonies across the region, honoring the legacy of service members past and present. Veterans Day, observed annually on Nov. 11, began as Armistice Day in 1919, marking the end of World War I, and has since grown to honor all who have served in the U.S. military.
