Water rescue at Wall Beach
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The bright sun belying the cold temperatures, Vandenberg firefighters connect a rescue sled to the end of a personal water craft March 31 at Wall Beach here. The firefighters conducted water rescue training, allowing the rescue team to familiarize themselves with the currents and tides of Vandenberg's beaches.
