SpaceX launches Sentinel-6 Satellite from Vandenberg AFB

Maj. Scott Nakatani, 2nd Range Operations Squadron director of operations, tracks the flight of a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch from his console at the Western Range Operation Control Center, Nov. 21, 2020, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. The WROCC actively monitors the sea, land, air and space of North and South America, Pacific and the Antartic. Keeping the public safe from any space related mishap, the WROCC ensures that launch only happens when all safety protocols are present and enforced. Public safety is the number one job of the space launch commander of the Western Range. (U.S. Air Force photo by Michael Peterson)
