Please join me in congratulating the following 2006 Air Force Space Command Space & Missile Operations Award Winners:

General Donald J. Kutyna Award for Best Spacelift Squadron: 2nd Range Operations Squadron

Chief Master Sergeant Edward W. Weaver Award for Best Operations Support Squadron with a Space Mission: 30th Operations Support Squadron

Space Instructor/Evaluator of the Year, Officer Category 1: 1st Lt. David Rodriguez, 30th Operations Group

The competition for these significant awards is fierce; to win is quite an honor.

Lt Rodriguez and the men and women of 2nd ROPS and 30th OSS should be very proud of their accomplishments. They have demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication and a true commitment to excellence. They represent what the 30th Space Wing "Hawks" are all about.
