30th Comptroller Squadron (30 CPTS)

Background:

The 30th Comptroller Squadron provides financial management support to all units on Vandenberg SFB. The squadron is composed of the Financial Analysis Flight and the Financial Management Flight.

  • Financial Analysis Flight. Provides budgetary services for Space Launch Delta 30 and various tenant units on Vandenberg Space Force Base. These services include aiding resource managers in estimating financial requirements for programs, translating them into financial plans, and executing operational budgets. Additionally, the team validates costs for proposed alternatives to align with mission objectives, ensuring actions stay within resource limitations and adhere to fiscal guidelines. Additionally, the flight distributes budgetary authority to resource managers per the approved financial plan, delivers financial management training, and provides decision support to Commanders in executing appropriated funds to support the Vandenberg mission.
     
  • Financial Management Flight. Provides financial services in support of military, civilian, and travel pay for Vandenberg Space Force Base personnel and affiliated geographically separated units. Provides Mypay pin reset services for military retirees and beneficiaries in the local area. The flight is structured into four key functional areas: Customer Service, Special Actions, Travel, and Civilian Pay.

Customer Service

Finance is located at building 10577 in room A101. Walk-in services are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 0900 to 1500. To schedule an appointment, please utilize the link provided: https://30comptrollersq.setmore.com/. Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1200 to 1500 and can be booked as late as 3 hours in advance. Additionally, we conduct in-processing briefings every Tuesday and Thursday at 1400 in room B-301.
