Chief Master Sergeant Cherise L. Mosley

Chief Master Sergeant Cherise L. Mosley serves as the Senior Enlisted Airman for Space Launch Delta 30, Vandenberg Space Force Base California. In this position she serves as senior enlisted leader and principal advisor to the commander on all issues affecting the military and civilian Airmen and Guardians assigned. She is responsible for the effective utilization, training, and development of 3,700 total force personnel within 12 squadrons, and 19 Delta Staff Agencies. In addition, she provides direct oversight and support for the effectiveness of health, morale, and welfare programs in support of more than 18,500 total force personnel, families, and retirees. Space Launch Delta 30’s support forces maintain and secure $16.5B in resources contained within the 118,000 acre installation. The Operations forces conduct space lift and range operations in support of operational developmental system testing and assured access to space for the Department of Defense and commercial launch partners, while the two squadrons that comprise the Medical Group provide world class healthcare to more than 14,000 beneficiaries throughout the community.

Chief Mosley grew up in and entered the Air Force from Wasilla, Alaska in April 2001 as a Munitions Systems Technician. Her munitions background encompasses all aspects of the Munitions Systems Career Field at the squadron, group and Major Command levels. Her assignments include bases in South Carolina, South Korea, Guam, Germany, North Dakota and Louisiana. Chief Mosley has deployed in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL and SPARTAN SHIELD. Prior to her current assignment, she served as Air Force Global Strike Command Munitions Functional Manager.
