Vandenberg Space Force Base and 
Space and Missile Heritage Museum Tour Request 

IMPORTANT: Due to an increase in launch mission support, tours are infrequent and will not be scheduled on or close to real-world launch missions. Space Launch Delta 30 does not offer tours to the general public. As an alternative, contact our mission partners for more information at the Space and Missile Heritage Museum at Space and Missile Heritage Center > Vandenberg Space Force Base > Display.  

Thank you for your interest in visiting Space Launch Delta 30 at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. The Vandenberg Space Force Tour is subject to 3-6 hours. The tour begins and ends at the Vandenberg Visitor Center, California Blvd., Vandenberg SFB, California, 93437.  

Tour Request Instructions

1. Submitting this request does not guarantee my group a tour. 
2. I will complete and submit this form no later than 60-days prior to my visit-request date. Visit requests submitted outside of the 60-day requirement will NOT be considered. 
3. I will provide my own mode of transportation. I will not exceed more than one vehicle. Two vehicles are NOT authorized. NO EXCEPTIONS.   
4. I must have more than 20 guests to submit a request and no more than 45 guests to be considered for a tour. 
5. Tours are not scheduled on launch days due to safety policy. 
6. Tours are not conducted on Saturdays, Sundays, Federal Holidays, and Family Days. 
7. Tours will only be provided between the hours of 8 AM to 4 PM. 
8. Tours are subject to last-minute cancellation due to mission requirements with little-or- no notice. A back-up plan is highly recommended in the event visit is postponed or cancelled due to mission requirements. 
9. Due to the high volume of tour requests, we recommend submitting this form a minimum of 3-6 months in advance in effort to reserve a date and time for your visit. 
10. To be considered for a tour, I must answer each question on this application. I understand that my visit request will not be processed until each question is answered. Unanswered questions will result in a delay and are subject to disapproval. 
11. I will spell out each acronym. 
12. I certify I am 18 years old or older. 
13. I am responsible for each person in my group. I am responsible for submitting each guest's personal information 10 days in advance for U.S. citizens, and 35-days for foreign nationals, required for installation access.  
14. I confirm each guest is in good health and physical condition. 
15. I assume full-financial responsibility for lodging, meals, and other expenses during the tour. 
16. Guests must wear long pants and are required to wear closed-toed shoes; high heels are not allowed. 
17. Historical sites are original and preserved historical property, which means several locations are not accessible to persons with disabilities. 
18. To obtain permission to photograph, record video, reproduce, publish or sell photos on Vandenberg SFB, contact the Space Launch Delta Public Affairs Office by email at sld30.pa.workflow@us.af.mil.  
19. I will share the information with my group on where we can and cannot take photos while on the installation, and within the vicinity, based on the Space launch Delta 30 Public Affairs Office. 
20. I will surrender my camera to a DOD official or Space Launch Delta 30 representative in the event it is suspected an unauthorized photo was taken. 
21. My group will be provided with a safety brief and will comply with all guidelines set forth or my entire group will be escorted off the installation. 
22. Guests must be escorted at all times while on the installation by an authorized/badged member. Visitors under the escort of a DOD professional must abide by the instructions and conduct set forth for visits. 
23. Smoking, vaping, illegal drugs, firearms, the possession, and consumption of alcoholic beverages, are all prohibited while on the installation.
