The launch of a United Launch Alliance Delta II rocket carrying the NASA/National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Joint Polar Satellite System-1 satellite from Space Launch Complex-2 here, has been delayed in order to replace a faulty battery on the Delta II booster.

Launch of the JPSS-1 mission is scheduled for no earlier than Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017.

The vehicle and spacecraft remain stable.
