The Air Force released the list of 1,367 master sergeants selected for promotion to senior master sergeant today. The list included three members from 14th Air Force (Air Forces Strategic):

Master Sgt. Ulysses Chavez, 614th Air and Space Operations Center Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division
Master Sgt. Grisell Chong, 14th Air Force Manpower, Personnel and Services
Master Sgt. Richard Styles, 14th Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance

Those selected represent 10.65 percent of the 12,834 eligible, Air Force Personnel Center officials said.

The average overall score for those selected is 673.11. Average time-in-grade is 4.02 years and time-in-service is 18.89 years. Other score averages included 135 for enlisted performance reports, 20.63 for decorations and 71.73 for the Promotion Fitness Exam.

Selectee promotions will begin in April, in order of promotion sequence numbers.

"Making senior master sergeant is an incredible achievement, considering public law limits the number of active-duty Airmen who may serve in the top two enlisted grades to three percent of the enlisted force. I'm extremely proud of all our senior master sergeant selects across the entire 14th Air Force," said Chief Master Sgt. Dennis Vannorsdall, 14th Air Force (Air Forces Strategic) command chief master sergeant.
