Vandenberg master sergeants selected for promotion

According to the Air Force Personnel Center, 1,367 master sergeants were selected for promotion to senior master sergeant today.

Master Sgt. Charles W. Guthrie III - 30th Security Forces Squadron

Master Sgt. Charles S. McQueen - 30th Space Wing Staff Judge Advocate

Master Sgt. Sheridy A. Snyder - 30th Comptroller Squadron

Master Sgt. Lora Schmeltz - 381st Training Support Squadron

Master Sgt. Zacheriah Stys - 532nd Training Squadron

Master Sgt. Scott Coen - 576th Flight Test Squadron

Master Sgt. Brian Newbraugh - 576th Flight Test Squadron

Those selected represent 10.65 percent of the 12,834 eligible, Air Force Personnel Center officials said.

The average overall score for those selected is 673.11. Average time-in-grade is 4.02 years and time-in-service is 18.89 years. Other score averages included 135 for enlisted performance reports, 20.63 for decorations and 71.73 for the Promotion Fitness Exam.

Selectee promotions will begin in April, in order of promotion sequence numbers.
