CFSCC hosts SAF/IA-sponsored tour for Foreign Air Attachés

CFSCC hosted a Secretary of the Air Force International Affairs (SAF/IA) sponsored tour for D.C.-based Foreign Air Attachés from 15 different countries at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., May 3, 2023. Led by U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Julian C. Cheater, Assistant Deputy Under SAF/IA, this DoD-level program aims to orient Attachés to DoD organizations and provides strategic messaging to senior foreign leaders, and is executed on behalf of the USAF Chief of Staff Gen. Charles Q. Brown.
 
Starting off the day, CFSCC and CSpOC mission briefs were led by Mr. William P. Thompson, CFSCC Deputy Chief of Staff, and U.S. Space Force Col. Anibal Rodriguez, Space Delta 5 Deputy Commander, respectively. U.S. Space Force Maj. Gen. Douglas A. Schiess, CFSCC commander, also gave his final remarks and answered any questions before the group received a Western Range Operations Control Center tour.
