VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The launch of an Atlas V rocket carrying the National Reconnaissance Office NROL-36 payload originally scheduled for Aug. 2 has been delayed due to an uprange instrumentation issue and is now scheduled for Aug. 3 at 12:27 a.m. from Space Launch Complex-3.
There are no issues with the Atlas V vehicle or the NROL-36 space vehicle and these systems are safe and secure.
There is a 90 percent chance of favorable weather conditions for the launch.
