VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Members of the 30th Civil Engineer Squadron Asset Management Flight are scheduled to host their 12th Annual Earth Day event at the Base Library side lawn area from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 18.

The event will include exhibits that demonstrate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

"The 30th Civil Engineer Squadron works hard every day to engage in sustainable environmental practices," said Benjamin Roope, 30th CES chief of pollution, prevention and sustainment. "Earth Day gives us an opportunity to highlight those efforts and promote them within our community."

More than 25 vendors will be present at the event to include Space X, Shaw Environmental, Bebe Farms, Vandenberg natural and cultural resource management, and the Vandenberg Fire Department.
