This is a very special time of year for many of us. It's a moment in which we're afforded an opportunity to spend time with friends and family to celebrate the holidays. In doing so, let's not forget the members of our team who are currently deployed, far away from their loved ones this season. I'm incredibly proud of what they're doing now, as well as what each of you have done throughout the year!

Among our many successes this year, in January, we flawlessly launched our first Delta IV Heavy from the Western Range. And then in August, we launched and controlled the termination of a cutting-edge technology demonstration project, DARPA's Hypersonic Test Vehicle 2. As you know, we've also had to navigate through some tough challenges this year. We've unfortunately had to say goodbye to some incredible folks as we bring our force structure in line with our new requirements. Through it all, you've been a fine group of professionals to work with. You deserve some time off to relax!

Both Cindy and I wish you and your families all the best this holiday season. I'm looking forward to seeing your safe return to work early next year!
