AFSPC change of command live broadcast

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Air Force Space Command will hold a change of command ceremony here Jan. 5. Gen. William L. Shelton will accept command from Gen. Norton A. Schwartz, chief of staff of the Air Force, in front of an audience of family and community members and AFSPC personnel.

"One of the most important missions of The Pentagon Channel is to reach across the Services and educate all men and women in uniform about the roles played by their counterparts," said David Howe Pentagon Channel operations manager. "This change of command is an excellent opportunity to show what a vital role Air Force Space Command plays in the lives of Soldiers, Sailors and Marines; not just Airmen."

The live broadcast and webcast will begin at 10:30 a.m. MST.
