Airman Johnson memorial services scheduled

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Memorial services for Senior Airman Daniel Johnson, an explosive ordnance disposal technician assigned here who was killed Oct. 5 while serving in Afghanistan, are planned for Wednesday, Oct. 13, on base and in Santa Maria, Calif.
10 a.m.-Dignified transfer ceremony at the base flightline
11 a.m.-Memorial Service at Vandenberg AFB Chapel
2 p.m.-Procession from Vandenberg AFB to First Christian Church in Santa Maria
3 p.m.-Memorial Service at First Christian Church
In addition, a burial service is planned for Thursday, Oct. 14 (the service will be private/invitation only).
