The Army & Air Force Exchange Service and Hamco, a production and marketing firm specializing in infant bib, bath and related products, are offering one lucky military shopper the opportunity to experience live the culmination of the nation's most popular singing contest.

The "American Idol Sweepstakes" winner will receive airfare for two from any continental U.S. location to Los Angeles, two nights stay at a hotel and two tickets to the finals of American Idol.

"This will undoubtedly be one of the hottest tickets and very likely the most-watched show this year," said AAFES' chief of staff Col. Virgil Williams. "With an approximate retail value of $1,500, this chance of a lifetime opportunity should have military shoppers flocking to their (Base Exchange)."

From Feb. 26 - March 4, BXs and PXs around the world are accepting entries for AAFES' "American Idol Sweepstakes," with the drawing occurring on or about March 30, 2010. No purchase is necessary to enter and entrants need not be present to win.
