LRS, OSS earn Outstanding Unit Award

Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, awarded to units which have outstanding achievement that clearly sets the unit above of national or international significance, combat operations against an armed enemy of the United States, or military operations involving conflict with or exposure to hostile actions by an opposing foreign force. VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Team, it is with great pride that I recognize our winners of the 2009 Air Force Space Command Air Force Outstanding Unit Award.

Please join me in congratulating the 30th Logistics Readiness Squadron and the 30th Operations Support Squadron! This distinction is well-deserved and earned by these units for exceptionally meritorious service for the period Oct. 1, 2007 - Sept. 30, 2009.
