The Air Force established a new legal assistance Web site recently at www.aflegalassistance.com.

The site allows users to access resources on a variety of legal subjects, fill out a worksheet for wills or powers of attorney and give feedback on legal assistance visits.

"Filling out a will or power of attorney worksheet prior to visiting the legal office will save you time and allows our office to better serve you," said 1st Lt. Christopher Mangels, a 30th Space Wing assistant judge advocate. "If you fill out a worksheet on the site, customers should remember to bring their ticket number with them when they come in."

The Web site should not be taken as definitive legal advice; users should always consult with an attorney before making important legal decisions, added Lieutenant Mangels.

As always, legal assistance is available on a walk-in basis from 1 - 2 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays. Notary and claims assistance are available on a walk-in basis from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The legal office is located on the first floor of Building 10577. For additional information, call the legal office at 605-6200.
