Airman sentenced at special court-martial
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- An Airman from the 30th Civil Engineer Squadron was convicted at a special court-martial here Aug. 7.
By a panel of commissioned officers, Senior Airman Andrea Barba was found guilty of stealing a laptop computer and unlawfully entering a private residence on two separate occasions; she was found not guilty of stealing some bedding from the home.
Airman Barba was sentenced to 15 days confinement, three months hard labor without confinement, forfeiture of $250 pay per month for 12 months and a reduction in grade to E-1.
Capt. Aimee Haney and Capt. Brandon Porter, both with the 30th Space Wing Judge Advocate office, represented the government. Area Defense Counsels Capt. Maria Delimata and Capt. Wesley Duncan represented the accused. Lt. Col. Jeffrey Ferguson was the military judge.
