The Air Force Office of Special Investigations Detachment 804 will host a cross-training recruitment presentation 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Vandenberg Center here.

Space is limited for the presentation, so interested Airmen must call 606-1852 to reserve a spot.

Enlisted members from senior airmen to master sergeants may apply; however, there are time-in-service restrictions. Although it's waiverable, senior airmen must not exceed six years time-in-service, and staff through master sergeants must not exceed 12 years.

Following the presentation, OSI agents will be available to answer many questions concerning the recruitment process, the career field itself and training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

"Working in OSI can give you a fresh perspective on the Air Force mission," said Special Agent Jean-Pierre Lapre, who works at Detachment 804 here. "It's not always rockets and planes. We mitigate, exploit and neutralize any criminal or terrorist threat, as well as ensure the base and its resources are protected from terrorists and espionage."

AFOSI conducts major felony level criminal investigations throughout the Air Force and provides counterintelligence support for the Air Force and the U.S. Government.
