The commander of the Air Force Space Command has designated Feb. 19 as "Cyber Awareness Day."

Gen. C. Robert Kehler's intent is to use this day to allow AFSPC to focus on the vital role of cyberspace awareness.

Unit commanders will kick-off Cyber Awareness Day at 9:30 a.m. Unit information system security officers will provide the Cyber Day briefing to all unit personnel.

Also taking place that day is a briefing by Mr. Ben Wilson, who works for the Defense Intelligence Agency, at 12:30 p.m. in the base theater. For those people who are unable to attend the briefing in person, it will be televised on Vandenberg's Commander's Access Channel, Channel 2.

For more information on Cyber Awareness Day, people should contact their unit information systems security officer.
