Team V member joins SNCOs after being STEP promoted

STEP promotions, or Stripes for Exceptional Performers, are immediate promotions given to Airmen who show an ability to excel beyond that of their current rank. VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Lt. Gen. Larry James, the 14th Air Force commander, promoted Michael Worden, the 30th Launch Group training manager, to the rank of master sergeant under the Stripes for Exceptional Performers program.

STEP is a highly visible promotion recognition program used to recognize the outstanding contributions and accomplishments of Airmen who work hard and are clearly a cut above the rest.
