Vandenberg's December climatology

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- December holds the record for the second coldest temperature (26 F) ever to be recorded on base. The last snowfall that occurred at Vandenberg (even though it was a trace) fell in December 1990.

Cooler days and nights are expected throughout the month, with more rain showers and fewer foggy days.
