Space wing seniors receive promotion to chief
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Congratulations to the following 30th Space Wing senior master sergeants who were selected for promotion to chief master sergeant.
Frankie McGriff, 30th Security Forces Squadron
Jeffrey Hall, 30th Launch Group
Dennis Beougher, 30th Logistics Readiness Squadron
Air Force worldwide statistics for promotion to chief master sergeant in 2007 are:
- number eligible: 2,476
- number selected: 416
- AF-wide selection rate: 16.8 percent
Enlisted promotion results will be released via the Air Force Personnel Center public website and the AFPC secure website. Airmen will be able to see the world-wide list of selectees on the AFPC public site.
While there will be no advance notification to Military Personnel Flights or commanders, anyone with Common Access Card capability will have access to a virtual enlisted promotion release application allowing them to build a user-defined list. This change does not affect promotion authority and unit commanders retain authority to non-recommend, withhold or defer promotion prior to the airman's promotion effective date.
Individual airmen should be advised to review the name or Air Force Specialty Code listing that will be posted on the AFPC public website http://ask.AFPC.randolph.af.mil/eprom/default.asp?prods3=5&prods2=2&prods1=1
and Air Force Portal.
To further assist airmen, their individual score notices will be available on the Virtual MPF or the AF Portal.
