U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services Visit
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Madelyn Creedon, U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services counsler, meets with Steven Clark, 30th Space Wing Plans and Programs office, during her visit to Vandenberg on Aug. 7. The visit was to build rapport and discuss defense policy. Ms. Creedon is one of five counselors in the majority staff of the U.S. SASC, and sits on the committee with legislative oversight of the Department of Defense, as well as aeronautical and space activities peculiar to or primarily associated with the development of weapons systems or military operations, military research and development, national security aspects of nuclear energy, the Panama Canal, and comprehensive study and review of matters relating to the common defense policy of the United States.
