The 30th Comptroller Squadron will shift to a local call center and appointments-only based customer service, and it will no longer offer walk-in service beginning April 16.

This switch will improve efficiency and effectiveness while reducing the need for time-consuming, face-to-face interactions.

"We're just trying to make it easier for you so you don't have to come into our office," said Capt. James Cunningham, 30th CPTS financial analyst.

30th CPTS will initiate the call center to assist customers with all military and travel pay issues. For customers who call the help line and still require face-to-face assistance, customer service technicians will schedule appointments.

For those who have all required documentation while filing vouchers and do not need the assistance of a technician, 30th CPTS provides a drop-off service. A travel voucher drop box is located in room A115, building 11777 during duty hours, or in the box in the 11777 parking lot facing Utah Avenue. Those filing vouchers must include four sets of orders, four copies of all receipts for lodging, rental car, airfare, anything over $75, and supervisor or approving official signature.

In addition to the call center, appointment service and drop-off boxes, 30th CPTS will also have an e-mail account available. Customers will be able to forward questions and concerns to payhelp@vandenberg.af.mil

To reach the call center after April 16, call 606-4606 and 606-4607.

For more information, call Capt. Jim Cunningham at 606-4031 or Master Sgt. Nick Hollinger at 606-4630.
