Space Command names weather squadron award winners

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The following Vandenberg Airmen were named as the 2006 Air Force Space Command Weather Award winners:
Weather Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. Charles Monk, 30th Weather Squadron
Weather Airman of the Year: Senior Airman Adam Salter, 30th WS
Outstanding Specialized Weather Support Unit: 30th Weather Squadron
Congratulations to all the men and women of the 30th WS. Their outstanding performance, dedication and professionalism have truly advanced air and space power for our great nation and have been at the heart of the 30th Space Wing and Team V's mission success. I couldn't be more proud of them; they have truly earned this recognition -- well done!
