Vandenberg's Hawk of the Week Awards on March 31st and April 1st.


U.S. Space Force 2nd Lt. Nicholas Surina, a 2nd Range Operations Squadron medium/heavy commercial mission integrator, directly supports launch service providers in their daily operations to launch payloads into orbit from the Western Range. He coordinates range support for industry partners and oversees range assets during day-of-launch operations to ensure mission success.


U.S. Space Force Spc. 3 Noah Folsom, a Space Delta 5, Combined Space Operations Center missile duty operator and theater operations synchronization technician, conducts space operations activities in support of CSpOC and U.S. Combatant Command missions.


Each week, the Hawk of the Week award is given to an outstanding Guardian, Airman, or government civilian, highlighting their unique personality, workplace achievements and contributions made to Vandenberg’s unique mission set.
