Wright attended the ceremony as the distinguished guest speaker, imparting words of wisdom and support to the ALS graduates, instructors and their friends and family. During his active-duty career, Wright served in the highest enlisted position in the U.S. Air Force providing direction for the enlisted force and representing their interests, as appropriate, to the American public, and to those in all levels of government.

ALS class 26-Delta graduated from the five-week course designed to prepare senior airmen to assume supervisory responsibilities. ALS is designed to be an entry level leadership enhancement course to prepare senior airmen for positions of greater responsibility by strengthening their ability to lead, follow and manage while also gaining a broader understanding of the military profession and their role within the Air Force and Space Force.
