Space Launch Delta 30 is scheduled to host a "Spaceport of the Future" Industry Day, July 29, 2026, at Vandenberg Space Force Base.

The Industry Day aims to align government and industry partners on a large-scale infrastructure recapitalization effort designed to transform the base into a high-capacity spaceport.

"Vandenberg is undergoing a fundamental shift in operations to meet the surging demands of the commercial space sector and our national security priorities," said Lt. Col. Kyle Rowland, Spaceport of the Future director. "To secure our access to space, we must eliminate infrastructure bottlenecks and build a resilient, high-capacity spaceport. This comprehensive recapitalization effort is essential to achieving our vision of launch on demand."

The Industry Day will gather executive-level decision-makers, site leads, and organizations specializing in large-scale infrastructure, power grid expansion, environmental planning, logistics, and venture capital. Topics of discussion will include streamlining contract procurement timelines, exploring public-private collaboration models, and implementing shared-use infrastructure strategies.

"The scale of this infrastructure modernization effort is unprecedented, and we need the immediate collaboration of private industry to succeed," said Rowland. "This summit is designed to clearly communicate our massive future requirements, elicit critical feedback from our partners, and structure these capital projects strategically. By working together, we can accelerate delivery schedules for the critical infrastructure our nation needs."

The event will feature panel discussions with SLD 30 leadership, strategic planning experts, and civil engineering representatives. It will also include an open Q&A session and structured one-on-one sessions between industry partners and base leadership to capture market capabilities.
