VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Vandenberg Space Force Base representatives will be participating in the Lompoc Old Town Market this summer, providing community members an opportunity to learn more about the installation's mission, growth, and role on the Central Coast.
Residents are invited to visit the Vandenberg booth on July 10, July 31, and Aug. 14 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. along the 100 block of South H Street in downtown Lompoc. Representatives from across Vandenberg Space Force Base will be available to answer questions, provide information about installation activities, and discuss topics of interest to the local community.
As launch activity and mission requirements continue to expand at Vandenberg, the installation remains committed to maintaining open communication with residents and providing opportunities for direct interaction with base representatives.
Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to:
• Speak directly with Vandenberg personnel
• Learn about current and future mission activities
• Discuss topics including launch operations, sonic booms, environmental stewardship, and infrastructure development
• Sign up for launch alerts and official communication channels
• Access informational materials and resources about the installation
The booth will feature informational displays, printed materials, and QR codes connecting visitors to official Vandenberg websites, launch notifications, and social media platforms.
