VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The 377th Test and Evaluation Group held a change-of-command ceremony July 14, 2026, at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, where U.S. Air Force Col. Janet Dewese, 377th Test and Evaluation Group incoming commander, assumed command from U.S. Air Force Col. Dustin Harmon, 377th Test and Evaluation Group outgoing commander. The time-honored ceremony symbolizes the formal transfer of authority and responsibility, ensuring continuity of leadership while honoring the accomplishments of the outgoing commander and welcoming the incoming commander.
As the Air Force’s only dedicated intercontinental ballistic missile test and evaluation group, the 377th TEG provides independent operational testing that validates the safety, accuracy, reliability and effectiveness of the nation’s Intercontinental Ballistic Missile force. Through ground and flight testing, the group delivers critical data to senior Department of the Air Force leaders, Air Force Global Strike Command and U.S. Strategic Command, helping ensure the readiness and modernization of the nation’s strategic deterrence capabilities.
