VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --
The 30th Medical Group has been conducting Air Quality checks on North Base at the fitness track, Child Development Center and Base Housing. All readings have been in the "Good" range on the EPA Air Quality Index. This means the smoke is an irritant to eyes and nose, but does not pose a long term health hazard. If you become symptomatic please take precautions and remain indoors. For questions or concerns call the advice nurse at 606-2273, option 5.
