A crowd of about 100 people listen to Lt. Col. Patrick Donley, 30th Security Forces Squadron Commander, as he delivers a speech honoring Cpl. David Williams, and Airman 1st Class Chavis at a Security Forces Memorial Ceremony here on May 14. The Security Forces Memorial reflects names of fallen Airmen in the security forces career field who were killed in the line of duty. Corporal David Williams of Tamaqua Pennsylvania died March 4, 1951 in the line of duty while performing base security at Offut Air Force Base, NE. Airman 1st Class Leebernard Chavis of Hampton, Virginia died October 14, 2006, while performing duties as a turret gunner with the 732nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron Det. 7 in Iraq.
