Vandenberg hosts the 23rd Annual Texas Blowout event
Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. -- The crowd watches as a Team V member throws a cow pie during the 23rd Annual Texas Blowout here Friday, Aug. 5, 2011. The Texas Blowout, which featured numerous family-fun activities, is a barbecue coordinated by 392nd Training Squadron personnel to raise funds for Operation Kids Christmas, an annual event in which the men and women of Vandenberg sponsor approximately 200 local underprivileged children during the holidays.
