Airman receives Bronze Star
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - Tech. Sgt. David Banton, 30th Security Forces Squadron, is presented the Bronze Star medal by Col. Richard Boltz, 30th Space Wing commander, during a commander's call held at the fitness center here on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Sergeant Banton received the Bronze Star for his exemplary leadership, personal endeavor, and devotion to duty while engaged in ground combat against an enemy of the United States at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, from 23 January 2010 to 6 August 2010.
