Vandenberg responds to Bear Creek wildfire
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – The Bear Creek Fire here was estimated to be nearing 150 acres in size and growing at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, according to 30th Space Wing officials. The fire is expected to continue to grow while the Vandenberg Fire Department assesses the most advantageous and safe area to fight the fire effectively, according to a spokesperson from the department.
