Children learn about space, religion at base chapel
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – Approximately 180 children from the Vandenberg and surrounding communities attended the Wing Chapel Ecumenical Program’s Operation Space Vacation Bible School program at Chapel 1 on Tuesday, June 15, 2010. The program is designed to teach children about the solar system and planet trivia while also introducing them to songs, Bible verses and biblical and spiritual training for a deeper understanding of the word of God.
