Fire, fire, fire!
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Teaching the "pull, aim, squeeze, sweep" method, Scott Balatgek, who is a 30th Civil Engineer Squadron fire inspector, teaches a Kids’ Fire Camp attendee how to use a fire extinguisher Aug. 15 at Fire Station 2 here. Besides fire extinguisher training, the children also had a chance to take a station tour to learn where and how firefighters live during their 24-hour shifts; receive smoke and fire safety training; and run an obstacle course that gave them a chance to use firefighter tools.
