Chief trio recognized
VAFB Airmen, and guests, gathered to celebrate a chief master sergeant recognition ceremony at the Pacific Coast Club, April 25. The ceremony recognized recently promoted chiefs, Paul Nash, Michael Frank and Gregory Morgan. The ceremony’s guest speaker, Chief Master Sgt. Patrick Abbott, 30th Mission Support Group superintendent, commended the new chiefs for joining the elite, one percent of highest ranking enlisted Airmen: Chief Master Sgt. Paul Nash leads 126 personnel at the Joint Space Operations Center, as the 9th Space Operations Squadron superintendent. Chief Master Sgt. Michael Frank, 30th Contracting Squadron superintendent, serves as the principle senior enlisted leader and staff advisor for base operational contracting, as well as unit first sergeant duties. Chief Master Sgt. Gregory Morgan, 14th Air Force Standardization and Evaluations superintendent, enables standardized operations for 29 weapon systems at 44 locations supporting 155 units with 480 evaluators and instructors.
