JSpOC Director Receives Distinguished Space Leadership Award
Colonel Michael Manor, Director, Joint Space Operations Center and Commander, 614th Air Operations Center at Vandenberg AFB, Calif., was awarded the General Jerome F. O'Malley Distinguished Space Leadership Trophy, shown here, by the Lance P. Sijan Chapter of the Air Force Association on Feb. 17 in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was accompanied at the presentation by his wife, Tracie Manor. The award is named for the late Gen. O'Malley, former Commander, Tactical Air Command, who is widely-regarded as one of the founding architects of what would become Air Force Space Command.
