Japanese Minister for Space Policy visits Vandenberg

During the visit Japanese space officials received mission briefings from the CSpOC staff and the 18th Space Control Squadron, and toured the CSpOC operations floor. The briefings and subsequent discussions highlighted a range of topics, to include tactical and national security objectives in space, Space Surveillance Network operations, Space Situational Awareness data sharing, conjunction notifications, exercises and future space security cooperation between the U.S. and Japan.
